Product Description
The Vysis ProbeChek Control Slides are paraffin-embedded, fixed, cultured cell specimens applied to microscope slides. The ProbeChek Control slides are designed for use as FISH assay controls for appropriate hybridization conditions and as controls for proper preparation of reagents during routine use of the PathVysion HER-2 DNA probes on clinical specimens. The ProbeChek Control slides should be assayed in conjunction with the user's specimen slides according to the package insert for the PathVysion HER-2 DNA Probe Kit.
The ProbeChek Control Slides have been validated by Abbott Molecular. The signal distribution within the specified range is achievable by the user if the recommended guidelines for signal enumeration are followed. If the results fall outside the expected range, consult the troubleshooting guide provided in the package insert for the PathVysion HER-2 DNA Probe Kit.
